Exercise has numerous health benefits. It helps elevate your mood, suppresses appetite, helps stay fit, increases immunity, improves cardiovascular health, maintains blood pressure, aids in weight and fat loss.

Weight loss research suggests that obese women who walked for 3 days per week for 50-70 minutes lost 2.7 kgs of body weight over a period of 3 months compared to women who didn’t walk at all1.

The American Heart Association recommends at least 150 minutes of moderate physical activity or 75 minutes of vigorous physical exercise (or an equivalent combination of both) each week for significant health benefits. Also, the chances of weight gain are minimal after a weight loss goal is achieved if you are physically active.
