Kondo bhaji recipe

Kondo bhaji is a good source of potassium, biotin, vitamin E, copper, dietary fiber, vitamin C, and lutein. HINT: It helps boost immunity and reduce the risk of various diseases.

Serves: 3 persons

Ingredients
Yam ordinary
250 Grams
Coriander leaves
1 Table Spoon
Cumin seeds
0.5 Tea Spoon
Turmeric powder
2 Grams
Mustard seeds
0.5 Tea Spoon
Rice bran oil
1 Table Spoon
Salt
0.5 Tea Spoon
Ginger garlic paste
1 Table Spoon
Red chilli powder
0.5 Tea Spoon
Instructions

Wash and steam
First, rinse 250 grams yam very well in running water. Then drain and steam them in a pressure cooker or electric cooker or steamer till they softened. Yam should be cooked completely, but not mushy.

Cooking
Heat the oil in a nonstick pan. Add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, turmeric, and ginger garlic paste. Once the seeds splutter add the yam. Cover the pan with a lid and let it cook for 15 minutes while stirring occasionally. Add salt and red chili powder. Mix well and cook the ingredients for 15 more minutes.

Serve
Garnish with coriander leaves and serve the stir fry with steamed rice or roti.
