Avalyacha achar recipe

Avalyacha achar is a good source of potassium, vitamin B6, vitamin K, manganese, and an excellent source of dietary fiber, vitamin C, vitamin D, vitamin E. HINT: Eat pickles in moderation as they contain high sodium.

Ingredients
Sunflower oil
100 Milliliter
Goosberry
250 Grams
Asafoetida
1 Tea Spoon
Fenugreek seeds
0.5 Tea Spoon
Turmeric powder
1 Tea Spoon
Mustard seeds
2 Tea Spoon
Salt
1 Table Spoon
Red chilli powder
2 Table Spoon
Fennel seeds
0.5 Tea Spoon
Instructions

Preparation
Dry roast mustard, methi, and fennel seeds till they turn golden. Transfer to the blender and blend to a fine powder. keep aside.

Boiling
Firstly, wash and steam the amlas for 10 minutes. Cook till the amlas open up by itself. allow it to cool completely. Further, open the amla by separating the segments and removing the seeds from the center. Spread it on the plate and allow it to cool completely.

Cooking
Heat cooking oil, add in mustard, and pinch of hing. allow splutter. Additionally, switch off the stove and add in steamed amlas. Saute for a minute or till the amlas absorb flavour. Further add in chilli powder, turmeric and salt. mix well. Also, add prepared pickle masala and mix well.

Serving
Finally, serve amla pickle along with rice, idli or dosa.Store in a clean, dry and airtight glass jar once cooled down completely.
