Rajma soup recipe

Serves: 5 persons

Ingredients
Brown rajmah
100 Grams
Tomato ripe local
50 Grams
Lemon juice
1 Table Spoon
Coriander leaves
1 Table Spoon
Garlic small clove
5 Grams
Onion small
50 Grams
Rice bran oil
1 Table Spoon
Salt
0.5 Tea Spoon
Water
250 Milliliter
Instructions

Wash and soak the beans
Wash and soak kidney beans in enough water for 5-6 hours.

Saute the spices
Heat oil in a pressure cooker. Add garlic, onion, and sauté for a minute or till the onion turns translucent.

Add kidney beans
Add chopped tomatoes to this. Sauté well. Add kidney beans and stir to mix and cook for a minute.

Pressure cook
Add 4-5 cups water, cover and pressure cook for 5-10 minutes. Transfer into a bowl and blend into a fine puree.

Blend the ingredients to puree
Heat a non-stick pan. Transfer the puree into it, stir and add salt, and lemon juice. Mix well and bring it to a boil.

Garnish and serve hot
Garnish with, chopped coriander, and serve hot.
