Veluttuli Achchar recipe

Ingredients
Sunflower oil
100 Milliliter
Lemon juice
2 Table Spoon
Garlic small clove
250 Grams
Asafoetida
1 Tea Spoon
Chillies red
10 Grams
Coriander seeds
1 Tea Spoon
Cumin seeds
1 Tea Spoon
Fenugreek seeds
0.5 Tea Spoon
Turmeric powder
1 Tea Spoon
Mustard seeds
2 Tea Spoon
Salt
3 Tea Spoon
Red chilli powder
2 Table Spoon
Instructions

Preparation
Peel the garlic and keep them aside. Dry roast the whole spices (fenugreek seeds, cumin seeds, coriander seeds, and dry red chilli) at medium heat for 5 minutes. Grind to a coarse consistency.

Cooking
Take a heavy bottom skillet and pour the oil. While the oil is still cold, add the garlic cloves. As the oil heats up to medium-hot, the clove will start to cook slowly. Let it simmer for 5 minutes or until they’re softened. Add the spices powder, red chili powder and simmer for 3 minutes. Add the thing, lemon juice and salt. Give it a stir and let it cook for 1 minute.

Serving
Finally, serve garlic pickle along with rice, idli or dosa.Store in a clean, dry and airtight glass jar once cooled down completely
