Manjal Pasi Paruppu Pesarattu recipe

Manjal Pasi Paruppu Pesarattu is loaded with essential vitamins, minerals, protein, and antioxidants, which help prevent obesity, lowers cholesterol, regulates blood pressure, lowers inflammation, and prevents cancer.

Ingredients
Milled raw rice
50 Grams
Green gram dal
100 Grams
Chillies green - all varieties
10 Grams
Ginger fresh
2.5 Grams
Cumin seeds
1 Tea Spoon
Fenugreek seeds
0.25 Tea Spoon
Rice bran oil
1 Table Spoon
Salt
2.5 Grams
Water
75 Milliliter
Instructions

Make the batter
Soak the green gram dal, raw rice, and fenugreek seeds for 5-6 hours. After soaking, drain the water and grind the mixture to a fine paste along with the cumin seeds, ginger, green chilies, and salt. Add a cup of water while grinding.

Spread the batter
Heat the dosa griddle until medium hot. Add ⅓ cup batter and swirl to completely cover the dosa griddle. Sprinkle ¼ teaspoon of oil or ghee to the pesarattu.

Serve it hot
Cover the skillet with a pan and cook for 30 seconds. Cook until underside of the pesarattu dosa is golden brown. Loosen the edges of the pesarattu dosa with a steel spatula. Flip the pesarattu dosa. Cook for 30 seconds more. Remove pesarattu dosa from the griddle and repeat with remaining batter.
