Carrot halwa recipe

Carrot halwa is a good source of calcium, phosphorus, copper, selenium, manganese, biotin, and an excellent source of alpha-carotene, beta carotene, and vitamin E. HINT: Eat this dessert in moderation as it contains high sugar and saturated fat.

Ingredients
Ghee clarified butter
4 Table Spoon
Sugar
150 Grams
Carrot orange
250 Grams
Cardamom green
5 Grams
Almond
20 Grams
Cashew nut
20 Grams
Pistachio nuts
20 Grams
Whole buffalo milk
100 Milliliter
Khoa
75 Grams
Instructions

Grating
Wash and peel the skin of the carrot and grate finely and keep aside.

Frying
In a large kadai heat ghee and fry cashews, almonds, pista. Fry until it turns golden brown. Keep aside.

Cooking
In the same ghee add grated carrots and saute well. Saute for 5 minutes or until it changes color slightly. Now pour milk and give a good stir, boil for 10 minutes stirring occasionally. Add sugar, khoa, and cardamom powder, mix well and cook. Garnish with fried nuts.

Finally, enjoy gajar ka halwa or carrot halwa chilled or warm.
