Phrench beans foogath recipe

Phrench beans foogath is a good source of dietary fiber, magnesium, manganese, vitamin B6, biotin, beta carotene, lutein, and an excellent source of vitamin C, vitamin D, and vitamin E. It helps lower the risk of heart disease and strengthens bones.

Ingredients
Sunflower oil
1 Table Spoon
French beans country
250 Grams
Chillies green - all varieties
2 Grams
Curry leaves
20 Grams
Onion small
50 Grams
Chillies red
2 Grams
Cumin seeds
0.5 Tea Spoon
Coconut kernel fresh
3 Table Spoon
Mustard seeds
1 Tea Spoon
Salt
0.5 Tea Spoon
Water

Instructions

Wash the french beans and chop them
Wash the french beans, remove the string and chop them into 1/2 inch pieces.

Saute the beans
Heat oil in a heavy-bottomed pan. Add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, curry leaves, dry red chillies, and green chillies. Saute for about 1 to 2 minutes. After 1 to 2 minutes, add onions. Saute for 3 to 4 minutes till the onion turns translucent. Then add beans, salt, and a Saute.

Add water
Add around 1/4 cup of water, cover, and cook for 8 to 10 minutes. Don't overcook to maintain the crunchiness. When beans are cooked, finally add grated coconut, toss and switch off. Serve hot with steamed rice and sambar.
