Yellow moong dal paratha recipe

Mixed vegetable paratha is a good source of manganese, vitamin D, and an excellent source of selenium. HINT: Eat this paratha in moderation as it contains high saturated fat.

Ingredients
Sesame seeds
1 Tea Spoon
Ghee clarified butter
22 Tea Spoon
Whole wheat flour
300 Grams
Green gram dal
100 Grams
Chillies green - all varieties
10 Grams
Turmeric powder
2.5 Grams
Water
100 Milliliter
Ginger garlic paste
1 Tea Spoon
Garam masala powder
2.5 Grams
Cumin powder
2.5 Grams
Red chilli powder
2.5 Grams
Instructions

Pressure cook the dal
Wash the green gram dal thoroughly, pressure cook for 10-15 minutes, cool them completely, and mash it to a paste.

Prepare the dough
Now prepare the dough by taking wheat flour in a large mixing bowl. Add the spices, salt, water and mix well. Add in prepared moong dal paste and knead dough.

Roll out the dough
Make equal portions of the dough, take one portion at a time roll out and flatten with the help of a rolling pin, in form of a circle.

Cook the parathas
Preheat a girdle, place the paratha over it, cook on one side for 30 seconds, apply some ghee, flip on the other side cook well by applying ghee.

Serve hot
Serve hot with raita.
