Passi Parippu Cheela recipe

Passi Parippu Cheela is a good source of protein, copper, magnesium, phosphorus, and an excellent source of selenium. It helps in lowering blood pressure and reduces muscle cramps.

Ingredients
Green gram dal
250 Grams
Chillies green - all varieties
15 Grams
Ginger fresh
2 Grams
Turmeric powder
2.5 Grams
Rice bran oil
5 Tea Spoon
Salt
2.5 Grams
Water
100 Milliliter
Coriander powder
2 Grams
Instructions

Serve hot with any chutney.

Prepare the batter
In a large bowl soak moong dal for 3 hours. Drain off the water and transfer it to a grinder jar, add green chili, ginger, and cumin grind it to smooth paste adding water if required. Add salt, turmeric powder, coriander powder. Transfer the batter to the bowl. Mix well by adding water forming thick flowing consistency cheela batter.

Cook the chilla
Preheat a girdle, take a ladleful of the batter, spread it evenly on it, apply oil from the sides. Once done flip on the other side and cook.
