Venna Naan recipe

Venna Naan/Butter Naan is a soft flatbread that has little nutritional value but is offset by less healthy ingredients like white flour, sugar, and oil.

Cooking time: 15 minutes

Ingredients
Butter
15 Tea Spoon
Sugar
0.5 Tea Spoon
Refined wheat flour
300 Grams
Rice bran oil
2 Table Spoon
Salt
1 Grams
Water
100 Milliliter
Curd
50 Grams
Baking soda
2 Grams
Instructions

Dough preparation
Filter Maida in any utensil and keep aside. Now put curd, baking soda, salt, sugar and oil and mix these properly. Put little amounts of water at a time in the mixture and knead Maida. Cover the dough and keep it aside in a warm place for 2 hours allowing it to ferment.

Making naan
Divide the dough into small equal-sized portions. Take each portion and make round balls out of it. Start rolling out the dough in the shape of a triangle

Cooking
Place this rolled Naan in the Tandoor to cook. After one side turns brown flip the Naan over to the other side. Immediately take the roti out on a plate and apply butter generously.

Serving
Place the rotis on a plate. Serve hot with veg stir-fries or veg curries and dal.
