Track your nutrition and health goals

Once connected, Hint pulls workouts and sleep data from Google Health Connect with no manual logging required — any activity already recorded in Health Connect, from any source, appears in Hint automatically. Each synced entry also gets its own free AI insight, personalised to your goal, the same way meal insights are.
Same principle as the iOS integration, worth being precise about here too: Hint integrates directly with Google Health Connect, and only Google Health Connect. It does not have a direct integration with Garmin Connect, Fitbit, or other fitness apps. If a device or app can write its data into Health Connect, that data reaches Hint. If it can't, it doesn't.
Google Health Connect works as a central data hub on Android, similar in principle to Apple Health on iOS — apps write their data into it, and other apps (like Hint) read from it, rather than every pair of apps needing a direct integration with each other.
A Garmin watch does not sync to Hint directly. The actual path is:
Garmin watch → Garmin Connect app → Google Health Connect → Hint
For this to work, Garmin Connect needs to be set up to share data with Health Connect (a setting inside the Garmin Connect app on Android). Once that link is in place, workouts recorded on the Garmin watch flow into Health Connect, and from there into Hint — with no manual logging at any step. But the connection to Hint is always via Health Connect, never a direct Garmin Connect integration.
Clearcals bundles this: purchase a Garmin watch from the Clearcals Store and get 1 month of Hint Premium free (worth ₹1,999).
Health Connect is designed to be a shared layer for Android fitness data, so the same pattern applies beyond Garmin: a Wear OS watch, a Fitbit account linked through its Health Connect integration, or any other app that writes workouts and sleep into Health Connect can feed that same data into Hint automatically — no separate integration needed for each device.
This integration is Android-specific, since Google Health Connect doesn't exist on iOS. iPhone users get the equivalent through Apple Health sync, which works the same way — Hint integrates directly with Apple Health, and devices like a Garmin watch or Apple Watch reach Hint through it.
Does Hint sync directly with Garmin Connect on Android? No. Hint only integrates directly with Google Health Connect. Garmin data reaches Hint indirectly — Garmin Connect must be linked to Health Connect first.
Do I need a specific watch for this to work? No. Any device or app that writes to Google Health Connect can feed data into Hint, including Garmin (via Garmin Connect), Wear OS watches, and Fitbit's Health Connect integration.
Is Google Health Connect sync free? Yes — it's available on the free tier, along with the rest of Hint's core tracking features.
Is this the same as the Apple Health integration? Same underlying pattern — Hint syncs directly with one platform-level health hub (Health Connect on Android, Apple Health on iOS), and other apps/devices reach Hint through that hub rather than through a direct connection to Hint.
What if my Garmin workouts aren't showing up in Hint? Check that Garmin Connect is set to share data with Google Health Connect first — this is the step most commonly missed, since it's a setting inside Garmin Connect, not inside Hint.
Do synced workouts and sleep get AI insights? Yes — once an entry syncs in from Google Health Connect, Hint generates a personalised AI insight for it, tied to your goal, the same way it does for meals.
